MASTER SHI XINGLIN
Our headmaster, Master Shi Xing Lin (Master Zhang), 41 years old, a 32nd generation Shaolin warrior monk, ranked at level 7. He went to the Songshan Shaolin Temple in the year 1993 and stayed there for 15 years. In this duration, he changed his role from a learner to an experienced kungfu master. He specializes on the 72 Shaolin Secret Skills: hard Qigong “iron head” and “silver throat”. He is good at traditional Shaolin fist forms, Shaolin staff, swords, eagle fist, tiger fist, mantis fist, drunken fist, Wing Chun, Qin Na, Tai Chi fist and weapon, and Baji.
Through his hard work, Master Shi Xing Lin has achieved outstanding honors:
In September, 1998, he went to Korea for performance at the representative of the Shaolin Temple.
In October, 2000, he attended the First National Shaolin Forms Competition and got first place in four events-Shaolin fist, straight sword, staff and pair sparring.
In April, 2003, he was invited to Korea again for visit and performance for 2 months long.
In July, 2004, he was invited to attend the "Gold Lion Competition" in Malaysia and won Gold Lion Award.
In May, 2005, he was invited by president of Russia Pu Jing for performance at the representative of the Shaolin Temple.
From 2003 to 2006, he was rewarded "excellent master" annually.
In June, 2006, he led his disciples to attend Henan province's "Teenagers' Championship" and won 13 first prizes, 27 second prizes and 11 third prizes.
From 2008 to 2009, he was sent to Guangdong and Fujian provinces by the Shaolin Temple to communicate and pursue advanced studies of Wing Chun.
He has been abroad many times for performances and teaching, such as the USA, Canada, Germany, Indonesia, and Australia.
